Privacy

It applies to Grove Point personnel with Siltwork accounts, and to people who receive emails or signing links generated by the system (for example contractors receiving reports or reminders, and responsible officials using a one-time signature link).

• BGF Development, LLC builds and maintains the Software and may operate hosting infrastructure under agreement with Grove Point.
• Grove Point Environmental, LLC determines how the product is used for its stormwater compliance program, who receives invitations, and what project data is entered.

Operational questions about your account or project records should go to your Grove Point admin. Software or licensing questions may be directed to BGF.

Depending on how the product is used, Siltwork may process:

• Account data — name, work email, role, credentials (e.g. QCI/QCP designation and number), optional phone and saved signature asset.
• Project & inspection data — site and permit information, form answers, BMP evaluations, photos and annotations, corrective actions, certifications, and generated report PDFs and snapshots.
• Delivery & operations data — email delivery status, reminder history, precipitation observations tied to projects, device/offline sync metadata, and basic technical logs needed to run the service.
• Signing-link data — for external Item 3 signatures: tokenized access limited to that certification and report.

Siltwork does not offer public registration. Accounts are created by Grove Point admins (invite flow).

• To provide stormwater inspection, certification, and reporting workflows.
• To generate immutable compliance records (PDF snapshots).
• To send report deliveries, signature requests, and corrective-action reminders.
• To detect qualifying rain events and surface compliance clocks.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and diagnose outages.
• To support Grove Point’s regulatory and contractual obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use inspection content for advertising.

Information may be shared with:

• Service providers that host or send mail on our behalf (for example database, auth, storage, email, and application hosting), under contractual safeguards appropriate to the service.
• Intended recipients you or Grove Point designate — contractors, responsible officials, or other parties receiving reports or reminders.
• Legal / regulatory disclosure when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of compliance records.

Inspection reports and related snapshots are designed as durable compliance records. Grove Point may retain them for as long as needed for permit, contractual, or legal purposes. Account and operational data are retained while the organization uses Siltwork and for a reasonable period afterward for security and audit, unless a longer period is required.

Access is gated by authentication and role-based permissions (including database row-level security). Signing links are token-bound and time-limited. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we apply industry-appropriate controls and expect users to protect their credentials and devices.

Staff may update profile fields in Settings. To deactivate an account, change access, or request a correction to project records, contact a Grove Point admin. External signing recipients may ignore or request a fresh link from Grove Point if a link expires.

Siltwork is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

We may update this Policy. The “Effective” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy where permitted by law.
